Measures 9" x 6", 37 pages, in good condition. Illustrated with black-and-white photographs. Catalogue contains listings for different types of locomotives. Listings consist of an illustration of the locomotive in question, accompanied by relevant specifications and physical dimensions. Description on facing page gives details regarding its use, the railway using it, and relevant details of its construction and manufacture. Wraps are rubbed; light wear to edges and corners. Front cover contains some markings in pencil, along with stickers from a previous owner of the catalogue. Sticker with a cataloging number written on it is also present; different cataloging number is written on the front cover in ink, accompanied by a stamp with date (September 3, 1929) indicating the catalogue's date of receipt by a catalogue library. Some wear and creasing to edges and corners of pages 19-25. The Superheater Company, a manufacturer of railroad equipment, had offices in Chicago, Illinois and New York City. $35.

Measures 9x6 inches. There are many black & white illustrations of locomotive throughout. Ex-library. There is a U.S. Patent Office Library stamp on the title page and the front cover dated Oct 2 1929. No other writing or marks are present in this copy. With light edgewear present on the wrappers, including bumped and creased corners, short closed tears, and some small chips. The spine is also lightly chipped and the wrappers show marks from rubbing. Binding is strong and sturdy and there are no loose pages. Listings include: Hudson (4-6-4) Type Locomotive; Mountain (4-8-2) Type Locomotive; Northern Pacific (4-8-4) Type Locomotive; 2-10-4 Type Locomotive; Suburban (4-6-6) Type Locomotive; and many others.
