Item Description: Sudwestdeutscher Verlag Fur Hochschulschriften AG. Paperback. Book Condition: New. Paperback. 184 pages. Item Description: Sudwestdeutscher Verlag Fur Hochschulschriften AG, United States, 2015. Paperback. Book Condition: New. 220 x 150 mm. Language: German . Item Description: New York : Wittemann Bros. ; Minneapolis : Chas. D. Whitall & Co., sole agents for Minnesota & Dakota, New York, 1883. Cloth. Book Condition: Very Good. First Edition. 1 sheet ([18] leaves of plates), [5] p. : chiefly ill. ; 9 x 210 cm., folded to 9 x 13 cm. The cover is in nearly fine condition. The biggest problem is that most of the photographs have separated from the long strip that once bound them. Extremely rare; OCLC shows the Minnesota Historical Society with the only other known copy. Rare early photographs of St. Anthony Falls, Silver Cascade, Fountain Cave, Barn Bluff at Red Wing, Maiden Rock, Lake Pepin, Interior Fort Snelling, Dalles of the St. Croix River, Minnehaha Falls, Chippewa Indians, Castle Rock near Farmington, White Bear Lake, Chester Creek Falls ("Near Lake Superior"), Lake Calhoun, Sugar Loaf near Winona, and "Bluffs on the Road to Homer". A wonderful collection of early photographs. Bookseller Inventory # 005801
