A near Fine copy with unfaded yellow cover printed in green, all interior text also in green ink. No rear cover. 1/8" diagonal corner tear to front cover, no other tears or folds or creases. Staples rusted as usual, with a little marking to surrounding area of pages around lowest staple. No soiling or staining other than the staple mark. First Edition. A Scarce Complete Set, Six Issues, Of This Short-Lived Fanzine From Los Angeles, With Contents Primarily By Yerke, Ackerman, And Bradbury. Quite Scarce; Worldcat Shows Only Two Institutional Holdings, At Bloomington And Riverside. Volume One Number One: Brown Cover, Printed In Green. Cover Lightly Worn, 1/8" Deep X 1" Long Chip Along Base Of Spine. Staples With Just A Little Rust, No Staining To Surrounding Areas On Pages. Volume One Number Two: A Fine Copy With Unfaded Yellow Cover Printed In Green, All Interior Text Also In Green Ink. Staples Just A Little Rusted As Usual, With No Rust Marking To Surrounding Area Of Pages Around Staples. No Soiling Or Staining. Scarce In Fine Condition; Another Near Fine Copy, With Some Creasing To The Lower Right Corner, Sold At Pba 4/3/2008 For $1560. Volume One Number Three: Brown Cover Printed In Green. 3/16" Deep, One Inch Long Chip At Top And Bottom Of Spine Edge. Light Crease Down Center Of All Pages, And Threetape Ghosts At Left And Right Corners, From Being Folded For Mailing; Stamp And Cancellation Jan 18 1941; Addressed To Science Fiction Writer Elmer Perdue. Volume One Number Four: A Near Fine Copy With Unfaded Brown Cover Printed In Green, All Interior Text Also In Green Ink. No Rear Cover. 1/8" X 1/16" Chip Lower Left Corner And 1/8" X 1/4' Diagonal Chip At Lower Right Corner Of Front Cover, 1/4" Closed Tear At Right Side, Faint Short Crease Upper Left Corner. No Other Tears Or Folds Or Creases. Staples A Little Rusted As Usual, With A Little Marking To Surrounding Area Of Pages Around Lowest Staple. No Soiling Or Staining Other Than The Staple Mark. Scarce In Fine Condition. Volume One Number Four: Front Cover Has Cartoon Of Three Prisoners, The First One Being A Caricature Of Ray Bradbury And Labeled "Bradbury", With Quote "Nobody Loves Me Anymore!!". Page Nine Has A Short Article Bradbury Hits The Pros: "Ray Is In A Delerium Of Joy. He Has Sold A Story" Etc., 12 Lines, Ending With "But Donald A. [Wollheim], You Better Pay Bradbury On Publication!". Chipping Along Lower Left Spine Edge And Upper Left Edge Of Front Cover, 1/8" To 1/4", With No Loss Of Text Or Illustration, Front Cover Detached, Very Faint And Very Small Stain Around Lower Prong Of Lowest Staple. Volume One, Unfinished Number Six: Printed In Green Ink, As Usual. Titles "Unfinished Issue #6" At Top, Begins P 5 And Ends P.12, Apparently Never Completed, Complete. Largely A Report By Yerke On The Denver 1941 Sf Convention. Fine Except For A Small Area Of Darkening At Top, A Very Small Spot Around The Upper Prong Of The Lower Staple, And A 1/4" Foxing Mark Ar Lower Left. Bookseller Inventory # 026478
