Item Description: Dreadnaught, [1976], [Toronto], 1976. Box. Book Condition: Fine. First, Limited Edition. Limited Edition of 100 numbered and signed copies, this being #63. The paper for the handmade box measuring 16.5 cm x 13 cm, was made from blue jeans, with a specially designed laminate, by Andrew James Smith. Like a pack of playing cards, the box contains 52 broadsides of fine Canadian poety, many folding, plus a Title-page, Colophon, Afterword and Specification Sheet. In 1976, the Dreadnaught Press produced one broadside a week, hence the title. Fine in a fine box. "In choosing material for '52 Pickup', my overriding concern was that the poetry be of the highest quality. . I wanted as many people as possible to be able to have their own work finely produced." - from the Afterword. Item Description: Skira, 2013. Couverture souple. Book Condition: Neuf. Dust Jacket Condition: Comme neuf.
