The 50-page booklet is photocopied on 60# paper. A vinyl sheet has been added to protect the front cover. The first part of the booklet contains a history of the Ozark area, especially as it relates to Missouri, two brief histories of the counties, and bios of leading citizens. The WPA section has a section on Ozark folklore, and brief stops at the Wappapello Division of the Clark National Forest, Cane Creek, Ellsinore, Van Buren, Thayer, Grandin, etc. The Louisiana Purchase Exposition book takes a 1904 look at these three counties.
