Item Description: Outskirts Press, United States, 2012. Paperback. Book Condition: New. 229 x 152 mm. Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****. Debarred the use of Arms is a warning to all American gun owners who currently believe their rights under the second amendment are secure. The Author is a former UK police officer of 21 years who enforced gun law in the UK. He observed first hand the steady restriction on gun owners, culminating in the total ban of handgun ownership and the resulting massive rise in armed crime. The book details the events in the UK leading up to the ban and the arguments used in the UK that are now being offered in the USA. It is particularly critical of The Brady Group whose policies have seriously endangered public safety in the USA. The horrific events at Columbine, Virginia Tech and others are recounted in chilling detail with actual facts, not anti gun spin. This book is a must read for all who care about the right to defend themselves and their families. Now a US resident, Certified NRA Instructor and Kentucky DOJ Registered Concealed Carry Instructor Steve Challis, along with his wife Eva run Harmony Hollow Firearms Training in Jeffersonville, Ky. Both are active supporters of the Second Amendment and Steve has been invited to speak at pro gun rights events since moving to the USA. The forward to this book is by Lt Col Dave Grossman a former West Point professor and noted author of several books that are required reading at the FBI academy and many Police Departments throughout the USA. Upon reviewing this book, Lt. Col. Grossman U.S. Army (Ret.) Director, Killology Research Group, stated; And thus the book that you hold in your hands is one of the most important books to be published in recent years, written by a former British law enforcement officer, with a vital message that we must read and heed. If England cannot make gun control work, then there is no way on earth that it will ever work in the US. All England has succeeded in doing is to create one vast unarmed victim zone. And that is the future of our nation if the gun grabbers have their way! We are in a battle for the future, soul and safety of our nation, and my good friend Stephen Challis is uniquely qualified to give us this message. Do not just read this book. Study it. Apply it. And pass it on, with urgency, to others. If the gun grabbers have their way, then England is our future. And it is a dark and desperate future, indeed. Bookseller Inventory # APC9781432783624

Item Description: America Star Books, United States, 2009. Paperback. Book Condition: New. Rose Ann Coon (illustrator). 229 x 152 mm. Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****. This book is a view of the everyday worker and how he or she sees life, government and the world as a whole. Many times corporate management sees the worker in a different light than the worker sees him- or herself. The way the term blue-collar worker has gone from a stigma to a badge of pride, and why the way America looks at the blue-collar workers should be viewed differently. Before I start, I wish to express a little story that I think shows how we should view worker growth. Two men are walking in the woods. As they walk along, they run across a very large bear. The bear starts chasing them with the intent to eat them. As the men run along the narrow path, one stops and sits down and takes a pair of running shoes out of his bag. He starts to put them on when the other man says, aHey! What are you doing? Those wonat help you outrun the bear.a The first man says, aNo, but I will outrun you!a The man who thinks outside the box, looking ahead of others, will always stay ahead of any competition. I dedicate this book to all managements that I have reported to or worked with as an hourly worker and a salaried manager. Bookseller Inventory # APC9781608364992

Item Description: Soho Crime, 2005. Paperback. Book Condition: Near Fine. Australian author Disher delivers an intelligent, atmospheric police proced ural, the first of a new series. A serial killer targeting young women alon g the isolated Old Peninsula Highway has baffled Detective Inspector Hal Ch allis and his staff. Himself a resident of the Peninsula, as the locals cal l the sleepy "comma of land hooking into the sea south- east of Melbourne," Challis leads a solitary life. We soon learn that his wife Angela has spent the last seven years in prison for conspiring with her lover to murder him . Nicknamed "the dragon man," Challis in his spare time obsessively restore s a vintage airplane, a Dragon Rapide. Indeed, as we meet the other police officers, it becomes clear that they're as interesting, not to mention as c omplex and morally ambiguous, as any of the criminals they seek. Pam Murphy , for instance, is an idealistic young constable recovering from a car cras h and a nervous breakdown, and Sergeant Kees van Alphen raids the evidence locker for cocaine, which he trades for sex. Fans of such gritty yet cerebr al crime novelists as Ian Rankin and Jack Harvey should be well pleased. Bookseller Inventory # RWARE0000012331

Item Description: Paperback. Book Condition: New. This item is printed on demand. Paperback. Col. Grossman U. S. Army (Ret. ) Director, Killology Research Group, stated; And thus the book that you hold in your hands is one of the most important books to be published in recent years, written by a former British law enforcement officer, with a vital message that we must read and heed. This item ships from La Vergne,TN. book. Item Description: Bibliogov, United States, 2013. Paperback. Book Condition: New. 246 x 189 mm. Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****. Rocks in the western half of the Hailey 1 2 ? quadrangle of south-central Idaho include various units of the Atlanta lobe of the Idaho batholith (biotite granodiorite to two-mica granite) of Cretaceous age and plutons and dikes of Tertiary (Eocene to Miocene) age that intrude the batholith. Eocene plutonic rocks consist of a bimodal suite of anorogenic granite and tonalite-granodiorite and hypabyssal rhyolite and rhyodacite dikes. Rocks of the Eocene Challis Volcanics are scarce in the map area but are widespread to the east. Rhyolite ash flows of the Miocene Idavada Volcanics and basalt of the Snake River Plain crop out in the southern part of the area. Lacustrine rocks of probable Eocene to Holocene age are present in the vicinity of Anderson Ranch Reservoir. Quaternary basalts and gravels are widespread on the South Fork of the Boise River, and alluvial deposits are common along active drainages. Metasedimentary rocks of unknown age crop out on House Mountain, Chimney Peak, and on the ridges east of Anderson Ranch Reservoir. Older structures in the Idaho batholith include a major fault beneath House Mountain that may be a decollement for one of the large thrust sheets in eastern Idaho or part of an extensional core complex. The southern part of the Atlanta lobe of the Idaho batholith is cut by northeast-striking faults (parallel with the Trans-Challis fault system) that are related to Eocene extension and by northwest-oriented faults that formed during basin and range extension in the Miocene. The basin and range faults have prominent scarps typical of basin and range topography. The combination of northeast and northwest faults has broken the batholith into a series of rhomboid blocks. Some of these northeast and northwest faults are older structures that were reactivated in the Eocene or Miocene, as indicated by Ar 40 /Ar 39 dates on mineralized rock contained in some of the structures. The Idaho batholith and associated rocks in the map area host several hundred mines and prospects in 18 mining districts. The deposits range in age from Cretaceous to Eocene, and many were developed for precious metals. Most of the deposits are in quartz veins in shear zones in granitic rocks of the batholith. Several districts were actively being explored for low-grade, bulk-minable, precious-metal deposits in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Bookseller Inventory # APC9781288890002

Therefore I am promoting the truest patriotism when I do everything I can to support such institutions as these, and thus raise the whole generation of the human race to a far higher level than it has yet attained. Thank God for the operations of Societies such as this; and when we look at the vast number of these spread all over England, and throughout the world, and contrast this with the state of things sixty or seventy years ago, we see what mighty results may be achieved. People are impatient for results, ft/rgetting that what is not seen is very often far greater than that which is seen. But whatever may be the apparent results, let us go forward; at any rate there will be one great consolation to know that through the efforts you have been making there have been many more hearts to desire and voices to pray for the second advent of our blessed Lord.
