Item Description: Institute of Scientific Research on Vedas, Hyderabad, India, 2012. Hardcover. Book Condition: New. Dust Jacket Condition: New. First Edition. This book seeks to rewrite the history of the world, particularly of the Indian subcontinent, based purely on multi-disciplinary scientific research. The planetary references in Valmiki Ramayan were actually seen from the given latitudes and longitudes around 5100 BC and these matched sequentially. See the slides depicting those sky views! The way in which archaeological, paleobotanical, oceanographic, geological, ecological and remote sensing research reports corroborate the astronomical dates is amazing! The book displays the sea level curve prepared by the Oceanographers confirming that submerged Ram Sethu was a walkable bridge in 5100 BC. See the curve! Recent genetic profiling of world populations corroborates that Dravidians and north Indians had common ancestors and indigenous civilization has constantly been developing in India for more than 10000 years, which supports the authenticity of genealogical charts found in ancient Indian texts. The book will persuade you to rethink if Ramayan and Mahabharat were merely the imagination of the poets or these contained some hard historical facts about our glorious past. The book contains following detailed scientific/academic papers. Past Meets the Present Leading to a Better Future- Text of the Inaugural Address by His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (Former President of India) Astronomical Dating of Planetary References in Rig Veda and Epics using Planetarium Software – A.K. Item Description: Global Vision Publishing House, 2010. Hardcover. Book Condition: New. . (illustrator). . Ability to express oneself clearly and confidently is a very important personality trait and this is given the highest importance during the evaluation process in recruitment. Many people fail miserably in this aspect even though they have very strong technical skills. Communication Skills can be categorized into oral communication skills and written communication skills. Communication is very important for any professional because during one?s career, every professional has to talk to a number of people of varying backgrounds and technical knowledge. There is and axiom in business circle which suggests that hard skills will get a person an interview, but soft skill will land that person a job. This means an applicant with years of education and experience in the field might have the hard skills necessary to fill the position, but lack soft skills such as leadership ability or self-motivation necessary to perform well on the job. This is true at other levels as well. Thus, this book presents a balanced view of ?Soft Skills: Key to Professional Excellence? and has focused on Current thinking in the field. In this book on hundred forty-seven articles have been structured four sections and sixteen subsections. These are hundred forty-five articles covered in the book reflect Communication Skills; Management Skills; Personality Enhancement; Managing Yourself. The editors hope that this book will appeal to a broad spectrum of readers, post-graduate and research students of economics, commerce and management. Item Description: Agam Kala Prakashan, 1989. Hardcover. Book Condition: New. . (illustrator). . I consider an honour to work as editor of this volume of felicitations to Shri R.K. Trivedi, a celebrated personality in the realm of administration and a great lover of Indian cultural heritage. He is dedicated to the ideal traditions of Indian culture. He is a renowned administrator, a great thinker, a versatile genius, a man of grace and dignity, a profile of humility and magnanimity. His contributions in the field of planning and development, financial administration, education, management of public enterprises and personnel administration are well-known. He earned wide recognition for his meritorious services and creditable works. It was, therefore, a very proper and pious decision of friends, admirers and well-wishers of Trivediji to felicitate him by presenting a volume containing research papers on Indology, Polity and Administration. When the papers were invited for the volume from the scholars of various fields, the response was overwhelming. The subjects chosen by the contributors are of great value and they shed new light on various aspects of Indology and Administration. I am fortunate to have affectionate cooperation of stewards of art, archaeology and administration. The Volume is in two parts comprising of sixty contributions on different subjects. The first part includes the papers on archaeology, epigraphy, art, iconography, religion, philosophy and social conditions of ancient India. In the beginning of the second part of the olume, the research articles on ancient administration and polity have been contributed by eminent Indologists. Theoretical and practical-both aspects of general administration have been covered by the contributors in their papers. Though some articles do not strictly fll under the purview of polity and administration, yet they have got their own importance of the subjects dealt with therein. On the requests of many of his friends and admirers Sri Trivediji himself contributed ?a retrospect? narrating his experiences of over forty years in operational administration. It is my humble duty to acknowledge the co-operation and feelings of the contributors. I cannot forget those also who could not contribute due to one reason or the other but sent their good wishes for complection of the work. I have received valuable advice and guidance from the Felicitation Committee which I gratefully remember here. I am very much thankful to Hon?ble Dr. S.D. Sharma, Vice-President of Indian for Kind message and to Hon?ble Dr. P.C. Alexander, Governor of Tamilnadu for reminiscences. All those who have sent their tributes and good wishes to Sri Trivediji deserve my heartfelt thanks. I must also remember the elp extended to me specially by Sri C.D. Tripathi, Delhi, Shri Onkar Sharma, Agra, Sri P.D. Chaturvedi and Sri B.S. Shukla, Lucknow. I owe a great deal of thanks to Sri Rameshwar Trivedi who has provided me some family photographs, reproduced here. I need not thank but remember the assistance rendered by my son Rajiv in reading the proofs and arranging the photographs etc. Dr. Agam Prasad, the proprietor of M/s. Agam Kala Prakashan and all his colleagues, deserve thanks without whose endeavour the work would have not seen the light of the day. I express my sincere gratitude to all those associates who helped me in one way or the other in this auspicious task. I am extremely grateful to Sri R.K. Trivedi who has hesitatingly accepted the proposal of felicitation and for his generosity in obliging me by providing an article on his experiepces for this volume. I take this opportunity to offer my sincere greetings to Sri R.K. Trivedi and the members of his family. 2 October, 1988 S.D. TRIVEDI Lucknow Contents Printed Pages: 600.
