Item Description: Various. Book Condition: Good. First Edition. Until recently little was known about the life of, Albert Victor Ormsby Wood (1904-1977), a somewhat eccentric and reclusive artist. The facts that have emerged, and these are merely skeletal, sketch a portrait of a private man, with private means who was burdened, particularly in later life, with a profound sight disability and whom, it appeared, worked quietly creating fantastical pictures of women. Here, the elongated female figures are seen in a variety of different fashions. Going back to his early influence of illustrator and artist Harry Clarke they appear as caricatures of the statutory sex-siren of the 1920s and 30s, tiny waists, curvaceous limbs and voluptuous breasts. Their tight clothes cling to each bodily crease and often the viewer is treated to a tantalising glimpse of stocking or cleavage. On the other hand, however, his private sketch books and journals that make up this collection reveal a distinctly different character - a voyeur and eroticist. The journals are full of long erotic stories implied in an inescapable language of masturbation and lesbianism. Here is a unique archive of material. This includes several filled and partially filled notebooks, some with notes, stories and musings on female corsets, hosiery and lingerie. One sketchbook with pencil drawings, some partially coloured, three fully coloured of mistress spanking young girl. Numerous typescripts and hand written stories, some single pages, some stapled together, mostly obsessing about Edwardian women's dress and female on female spanking. One of the hand written stories on foolscap contains three hand coloured drawings on female spanking. A unique archive that would make an important addition to any institutional collection. Further details on request. Bookseller Inventory # 009206

Bookseller Inventory # ABE-17380676224

Item Description: 1950. Couverture souple. Book Condition: Très bon. Edition originale. VERY GOOD CONDITIONS. ORIGINAL ARTWORKS BY A FAMOUS AND UNKNOWN FEMDOM ARTIST, CIRCA 1950. (c). Bookseller Inventory # pol202*

Item Description: 1937. unbound. Exceedingly rare complete set of storyboards for the classic 1937 Betty Boop cartoon short "Ding Dong Doggie," remarkably drawn by Fleischer artist and animator Tom Johnson. 8.5 x 11 inches, graphite pencil (with some highlighting in red and blue), consisting of seven highly detailed pages (more than forty frames) with descriptive motion captions. Story Line: Impressed by a dalmatian fire dog he sees, Pudgy goes against Betty's orders and follows the fire dog to a fire at the general store. Pudgy tries to help out, but the fire takes on an (animated) life of its own and gets the better of Pudgy. In the end, Pudgy is happy to run back home to Betty Boop, who gives him a good spanking for disobeying her. Additional information is written in the hand of Dave Fleischer who uses a pencil color code to keep track of the productions progress. A red check mark indicates that the scene was animated; blue indicates that the background was complete; green lets everybody involved in the project know that the scene was sent to cameraman Al Windley. A wonderful item from the Golden Age of animation. Gently worn but still in very good condition. Bookseller Inventory # 256921

Cfr. Item Description: Leipzig Parthenon Verlag -31 1929, 1929. 4to, 12 issues bound in 2 vols. 225, 256pp, illustrated throughout text and with seperate colour plates. Fine in Fine blue 1/4 morocco with 4 raised bands with gilt rules and gilt titles to spine, speckled boards and endpapers with only the lightest of shelfwear. 'Der Flagellantismus Als Literarisches Motiv' was published between 1929 and 1932 by pioneering German sexologist Ernst Schertel by his own Parthenon Verlag publishing company. Following the nazi seizure of power in 1933 all such publications were suppressed with many publishers and authors sent, at best, into exile, and, at worst, into the new 'Wild Camps' at Dachau and Sachsenhausen. A slightly ironic result considering some of the senior nazi figures' predilection for similar material (Goering and Streicher spring to mind). These, then, represent the quintessence of Weimar-era 'decadance' and are considered one of the Holy Grails of BDSM culture. Originally bound in 4 vols they were republished in 2 vols in 1957 when Schertel had returned to a more tolerant Germany. However, these are the ORIGINAL 1929-32 magazines bound in 2 vols. Item Description: Sans nom d’éditeur [Eric Losfeld], 1958. Couverture souple. Book Condition: Très bon. Edition originale. Dutel (Dutel 2615) signale une note manuscrite de l’érudit Gershon Legman dans son exemplaire personnel : « Aline G. told me the author was her fellow surrealist-occultist Benjamin Péret, a wholly mad anti-religionist. BON EXEMPLAIRE, TEXTE CLANDESTIN EXCEPTIONNEL. (c). Bookseller Inventory # pol155

Binding worn, splitting book in two, rear cover detached, all pages present, would benefit some gentle restoration. Scarce first edition including a short Carrington catalogue at the rear. Georges Grassal de Choffat or Hugues Rebell (27 October 1867, Nantes - 6 March 1905, Paris) was a French author. He wrote against Christianity and professed paganism while remaining a Catholic. An exponent of Friedrich Nietzsche, he was associated with Action Française. Rebell wrote a number of pornographic works under the group pseudonym "Jean de Villiot", a prolific contributor to early 20th century French spanking literature, published by Charles Carrington. Rebell is often dismissed as a failed author of pornography, remembered for only one title, Les nuits chaudes du Cap Français (1902), which won the Prix Nocturne in 1966. He was also a poet, whose Les Chants de la pluie et du soleil, dedicated to his friend René Boylesve, inspired André Gide in Les Nourritures Terrestres. He was also known as a polemicist of royalty because of his Union des trois aristocraties (1894), which treated the three aristocracies based on family name, money, and talent. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Bookseller Inventory # 038128

Item Description: s.e., s.l., 1785. In-4°, pp. 63, (3), Cartonato. Item Description: Bruccoli Clark, Bloomfield Hills, MI [Columbia, SC], 1981. Red Satin. Book Condition: As New. Ducornet, Erica [Rikki] (illustrator). First Edition. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Bloomfield Hills, MI and Columbia, SC: Bruccoli Clark, 1981. First Edition. Illustrated by Erica (Rikki) Ducornet. Quarto, 53 pp. As new, pristine and flawless. The special signed, limited edition - of 95 copies only - in cushioned red silk fine binding, gilt imprinting, Artemis paper, marbled endpapers, and with a page of Coover's own fair-copy handwritten manuscript tipped in on the verso of the half-title. Not to be confused with the larger limited run of 505 copies, this one is definitely meant for display; a stunning visual treat. Coover's often [and usually humorously] misunderstood farce-masterpiece of soft erotica and allegory, in its most collectible form; buy the trade issue if you want to read it. Visual sumptuousness of the book itself befits the character of the tale, and soft, symbolic illustrations by Rikki (Erica Ducornet) carry the tone. Eye candy on the cocktail table, but cosset it between soirees. One of Daphne Merkin's favorite S/M books. lg4. Signed and Numbered By Author. Bookseller Inventory # 001156

Item Description: Prague: Mladá fronta, 1970. Hardcover. Book Condition: Gut bis sehr gut. 1. Auflage. Octavo (24 x 17 cm). Yellow cloth; 237, [3] pp. Ten full-page abstract illustrations by Vladimír Boudník. Signed and inscribed by Hrabal on the title page, where he has affixed a small printed poem, apparently taken from another book. Parts of the original front and rear wrapper have been affixed to front and rear pastedowns. Rear board lightly stained; else very good. First and only edition of this collection of poems and short stories by Bohumil Hrabal, perhaps the most significant Czech author of the twentieth century. Before authoring a self-critical essay in the journal Tvorba in 1975, Hrabal was unable to publish his work officially and many titles only appeared in samizdat form. This edition was printed at the end of the Prague Spring, a period of relatively lax cultural policy, and was quickly banned and confiscated after the onset of the so-called Normalization regime. "Bohumil Hrabal was one of the discoveries of the golden 1960s, and after the plank snapped, hard times ensued. In 1970 Mladá fronta published two of Hrabal's books -- Poupata (Buds, 35,000 copies) and Domácí úkolý (Homework, 26,000 copies). Both did come out in the stated print runs, but both were then banned. The spanking new books were trucked to a state recycling centre and destroyed (except for the small numbers salvaged by Hrabal's wife Eliska, who was, by a whim of fate, employed at the very centre" (Vaclav Kadlec 2014). A number of copies were evidently handed out to friend, such as the present one, customized and inscribed to Dr. Buriánek, most likely Czech literary critic and historian František Buriánek (1917-1995). With ten striking full-page illustrations by Vladimír Boudník (1924-1968), a close friend of Hrabal. Bookseller Inventory # 003276
