Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First edition. Octavo. 300pp. Front endpapers with six gift inscriptions (see below). Endpapers with a bit of foxing, else near fine in a moderately edgeworn, very good dustwrapper with light interior foxing. An interesting copy of this murder mystery set in the theater. Laid in is a New York City theater program for Hasselfree Mysteries' audience participation production of *The Edge of the Knife: The Soap Opera Slaying!*. The play is written by Dawn Volkart, directed by Janice Goldberg, and presented by Three Masques Production Company. The book has been briefly inscribed to "Douglas" by five members of the cast, as well as Volkart, the author, wishing him a happy birthday and thanking him for attending. We have been unable to find a connection between Terry Miller (who was very involved in the theater) and the play; either way, a sweet birthday gift and a nice theatrical association.
