A well reasoned and well supported accounting of the centuries-long, systematic and brutal-beyond-conception persecution of persons deemed to be witches, devil worshipers, or any other belief unsanctioned by official Christendom from the 313 Ediict of Milan to the late 1800's. Topics include "Christianity, The State Religion, The Older Gods Become Devils, and The Three P's of Despotism." The book is staple bound with yellow card stock covers. The front cover has a depiction of 2 young women dancing with a seated Pan playing the flute. Binding is tight, text is clean, minor fraying and stains on the cover.
