Hardcover. Condition: VG for age. 4th Edition. Tooled leather boards, later paneled leather spine with gilt-on black label, slight corner bumping otherwise clean and unworn. 219 + (11, index with engraved head and tail pieces), Wollaston's name not on t.p. but end of main text, small central engr. to t.p. large headpieces to 'Advertisement' and main text; end-gutters re-laid under paste-downs, fr. blank fly has small early sig. and 4 ll. early pencil notes, possibly by a dealer, chipped to bottom inner corner plus small chip centre outer edge, tanned, t.p. also has some tanning edges, a few odd spots occ. throughout, top edge has ingrained dust, otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. This is bibliographically a little complex, a few copies of a 1st ed. appeared in 1722 riddled with errors, but reprinted in 1724, the fuller, and corrected, 1725 edition is apparently identical in most respects to this one, but with a different publisher. 19.5 cm x 24 cm.
