Dedicated to the Methodists of North Carolina. Rev. Hilary Thomas Hudson was born near Mocksville in Davie County, North Carolina in 1823. In 1853 he was ordained a deacon in Raleigh and became an elder in 1855 in Wilmington. In 1860-61 he was established in Wilson. He served in Greensboro in 1863-64, in Fayetteville 1864-65, and in Raleigh at Edenton Street in 1866-69. He continued to move throughout the state, and towards the end of his life he lived in Winston-Salem. He passed away in Morganton, North Carolina at the State Hospital on June 17th, 1892.
