Item Description: Henry Holt and Co., 1951. Hardcover. Book Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. This copy of the highly regarded autobiography, by the general who led more combat troops than any other field commander in history, is made even more special by the fact that Bradley inscribed it to fellow military great Fleet Adm. Ernest J. King. The inscription on the title page reads: "To Fleet Admiral Ernest J. King, who contributed so much to the story I have tried to tell. Omar N. Bradley." This book would be a great addition to any military or historical collection. The book itself is in very good shape for its age, the dusk jacket slightly less so, with fraying at the edges and a couple of small chips and tears. Overall an outstanding piece of history.
