The plot revolves around the Nolan family and is semi-autobiographical. Betty Smith's family moved around various tenements in New York settling in the place that would become the model for her novel. Covers are solid with dustiness to front and back but overall very good with very good spine. PLEASE NOTE: Bold name in ink with date to front otherwise unmarked.
