Sigrid is unahppily married, but works the farm and manages the household while raising eleven children. Early reprint. Bumped and rubbed with a short tear to the spine head, spine ends sunned. Inscribed on the front end paper "For Peg O'Malley with friendly greetings from Lillian Budd." A different owner's name is stamped on the front end papers. Jacket rubbed with chips and tears, spine a bit darkened, loss to the upper edges including taking part of the title on the spine, in Brodart. Inscribed By the Author.
