    No Binding. Condition: Collectible-Very Good. Autograph letter signed (5 1/2 x 8 3/4 inch) 3 pages, on Thomas and Abbott stationary, and dated September 7, 1883, Boston, Mass. 1/3 of the last page below Abbott's signature is torn off. The letter is to a Mrs. Greenhalge about settling her father's estate, including finding a buyer for the patents to her father's inventions. Nathan Abbott (1854-1941) received his law degree from Boston University in 1881. He later taught at Michigan (1891-92) and Northwestern (1892-94). He went on to become the founding dean of the Stanford University Law School. Signed by Author(s).
