A warm letter written while on the train from B.C to Ontario, touching on her visit over Christmas, traveling with her daughter and the recently completed second book of stories (Something I've Meaning to Tell You). The letter ends "Happy New Year and Love, Alice." The book "Something I've Been Meaning to Tell You was published later in 1974. The letter is to Canadian Poet E.D. Blodgett, winner of the Governor General's Award for Poetry and a critical study of Munro in 1988. A First Canadian Hardcover edition of the book "Something I've Been Meaning to Tell You) in very good condition is included. The book is unsigned. Signed by Author(s).
