Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Printed in Great Britain. [Date from the copyright page.] First Printing. Foreword, Notes at the end of each chapter, Charts, Tables, Figures, Epilogue, Appendices, Bibliography, Indexes; 312 pages. The original black boards are in very good shape with just a touch of surface spotting and gently-bumped corners; the gilt spine lettering on a red square is as bright as if just issued. There is some dust freckling on the top-edge of the text-block (paler at the front edge) and only a few age-spots on the first two pages of the book; the interior is completely fresh, crisp, and unmarked. The original pictorial dustjacket is unclipped (35s net) with a bit of rubbing at the top edge and one small tear. [Visible in one of my five images of the actual book.] The original publisher's post-free inquiry form is still intact on the rear free endpaper. "In this work I give you the stories of normal men and women who have explored the far reaches of their minds, and who were sure enough of their findings to check them against the facts, and be checked by outside observers. What they experienced are examples of telepathy, clairvoyance, the action of the mind at a distance, and most remarkable of all---the personality freeing itself of the body and traveling where it will across the reaches of time and space." As with every book from my father's collection, tipped-in at the front is the small, attractive, acid-free bookplate pictured on my homepage. All books are wrapped with special care and are shipped promptly with tracking; international sales sent via global priority, also with tracking.
