Book
Hardcover. Condition: Poor. The Book House, 1937. Deep blue cloth bound volume with cover paste-on illustration (with some abrasion), worn gilt lettering on the spine and front board. End papers are the green and white animal images of this edition. There is a bookstore sticker in the corner of the paste-down end paper. Worn at all extremities - the lower corners of the boards are badly bumped, as well as the head and foot of the spine. A couple pages have been repaired with (now quite yellowed) cellophane tape. There are spots and stains but no previous owner markings, happily. A damaged but charming survivor.
