Hard Cover. Later edition, reprint. 223 pgs., 4to. A narrative history of Donleavy's life there, rather than the land, with some photographs of people and pubs in his circle. Though of Irish parentage, he only went back there at college age, which is where he commences his 40-year account, which does include some interludes in the states, and is, as usual, very entertaining. The jacket is price-clipped, and the book also has a very light marginal edge stain (largest size 1x3") on perhaps the last 20 pages, conceivably from spilled coffee (no damage to boards). There is also a private owner impress stamping on the title page, in the lower corner. Good used condition, in a price-clipped jacket.
