This is the limited edition of 50 copies with an extra suite of 52 engravings (each signed by Barry Moser), an original pencil sketch of the monster, and the extravagant bronze-medalion slipcase. The main volume is bound in tan quarter morocco over maroon cloth boards by Sam Ellenport at the Harcourt Bindery, raised bands, maroon leather label with calligraphic titling. The portfolio of engravings is in matching maroon cloth folder (creased). The set is, in turn, housed in a spectacular slipcase: quarter morocco leather with a large solid bronze medallion of the monster's hand inset into the spine, again over maroon cloth. Condition is near fine throughout, trivial shelf-wear only. Contents uniformly fine or very near fine.
