Reproduced photographically from the two original volumes of Faulkner's Poetry: Marble Faun, published by Four Seas in Dec.1924 and A Green Bough, published by Harrison Smith and Robert Haas iin April,1933. The book is bound in fine black cloth with title and Faulkner facsimile signature in gilt on the front cover. Spine leans slightly. Top edges of the covers have a slim line of sun-toning. Corners are sharp and heel of spine is slightly softened. Pages are pristine, smooth and unmarked. The dust jacket in in near fine condition with a .5" closed tear on the top edge of the back panel. The original price-"$8.95" is on the front flap. The Marble Faun-51 pp; A Green Bough -67pp. The author won the Noble Prize in Literature in 1949 and The Pulitzer Prize in 1955 and 1963. This is a rare volume of poetry written by Faulkner in his youth and republished here near the end of his life.
