Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final of the Harry Potter novels written by British author J. K. Rowling. The book was released on 21 July 2007, ending the series that began in 1997 with the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. This book chronicles the events directly following Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2005), and leads to the long-awaited final confrontation between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort. Deathly Hallows is published in the United Kingdom by Bloomsbury Publishing, in the United States by Scholastic, in Canada by Raincoast Books, and in Australia and New Zealand by Allen & Unwin. Released globally in ninety-three countries, Deathly Hallows broke sales records as the fastest-selling book ever, selling more than 11 million copies in the first twenty-four hours following its release. The previous record, nine million in its first day, had been held by Half-Blood Prince. The Deathly Hallows has also been translated into numerous languages, including Ukrainian, Swedish, Polish and Hindi. J.K. Rowling Joanne Rowling (born 31 July 1965), better known by her pen name J. K. Rowling, is a British author and philanthropist. She wrote Harry Potter, a seven-volume fantasy series published from 1997 to 2007. The series has sold over 600 million copies, been translated into 84 languages, and spawned a global media franchise including films and video games. The Casual Vacancy (2012) was her first novel for adults. She writes Cormoran Strike, an ongoing crime fiction series, under the alias Robert Galbraith. Born in Yate, Gloucestershire, Rowling was working as a researcher and bilingual secretary for Amnesty International in 1990 when she conceived the idea for the Harry Potter series. The seven-year period that followed saw the death of her mother, the birth of her first child, divorce from her first husband, and relative poverty until the first novel in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was published in 1997. Six sequels followed, concluding with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2007). By 2008, Forbes had named her the world's highest-paid author. Signed by Author(s).

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. J.K. Rowling (2007) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows , UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. Signed and inscribed by Rowling on the title page: to Lindsey [signature] , certified with the official hologram as called for (bearing the 21/07/07 date). By the time of publication signed Harry Potter books have become so valuable that a plethora of forgeries have permeated the market. Aware of this problem, the publisher issued the hologram sticker authenticating Rowling s signature. There was only one signing event for this title in the UK: the midnight signing at the Natural History Museum in London on 20 July 2007, for which only 1,700 lucky ticket winners were admitted. Please note, that signed copies not bearing the hologram sticker are to 99 percent forgeries and in any case worthless for collectors unless some substantial provenance can be presented. Condition: a near fine copy with just a little of shelf wear as shown. The seventh and last volume in the seminal Harry Potter series which took the book world by storm igniting Potter-mania amongst kids (and at that stage adults as well). The first print run for this book was a staggering 8 million copies. However, since effectively only about 1,700 copies were signed at the only official signing on 20 July 2007 Deathly Hallows sells for a considerably higher price than many earlier volumes in the Potter series. Adapted as a two-part movie in 2010 and 2011. First and Fine. Signed by Author(s).

Book First Edition Signed
Hard Cover. Condition: Fine (see description). Dust Jacket Condition: Fine (see description). Thomas Taylor; Cliff Wright; Giles Greenfield; Jason Cockcroft Cover Art (illustrator). First Edition. ------------( all are 1st printings of the First Raincoast Editions ) ----7 volumes comprising the original SEVEN Harry Potter books, hardcovers, all are about 5.25w x 8h inches, the complete Harry Potter series all in Raincoast editions, all are Near Fine/Fine examples with some possibly being unread, all in Near Fine/Fine dustjackets, - all in uniform format and size, all with decorated boards except for STONE and CHAMBER which were issued with plain boards (in the 1st printings ---all subsequent printings of STONE and CHAMBER have decorated boards), a nice set that looks quite new and would make a dandy gift for a PotHead, some volumes are showing a bit age toning to the paper, ---all books have a complete number line beginning with a "1" EXCEPT for STONE which has a number line beginning with a "2" which in this case indicates a 1st Canadian printing, THERE ARE NO RAINCOAST EDITIONS of STONE with a number line beginning with a "1" in this original format (duplicating the UK Bloomsbury design), furthermore when Raincoast issued STONE (and CHAMBER at the same time ) there were a limited number of copies of STONE issued with a signed BLOOMSBURY bookplate, this copy has that signed plate on the blank page facing the half title page, this first printing of STONE from RAINCOAST is extremely rare and even moreso with the ROWLING signed plate ----STONE contains two errors which were corrected in later printings of this book: Line 1, page 8 has "highchair" instead of "high chair"; and on page 53 in the list of "Other Equipment" needed for Hogwart's School, " 1 wand " is listed twice ---errors that were corrected in later printings, as well the upper portion of the spine and the rear panel show the young wizard ---a nice set with all dustjackets in hi-quality mylar protectors,---the RAINCOAST editions are identical in format to the UK editions and uses BRITISH spelling and grammar ---, ---I suspect that this will be the only 1st edition set I ever have to offer---, any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo /// SIGNED (one book) ---GUARANTEED to be AVAILABLE/// ---sizes are approximate (generally within 1/8 inch) ---NO DISCOUNT AVAILABLE---SOLD as a SET only ------ An order from outside of the US or Canada cannot be accepted due to the impossibility of satisfying the necessary export requirements and documentation ---apologies for this----, Size: 5.25w x 8h Inches. Signed (see description). NOT Price Clipped.
