Book Description: Lodge of Research. CC., Dublin, 1925. Hardcover. First edition. 543pp. Very thick octavo [25 cm] Original blue cloth with gilt-stamped title to the front cover and spine. Black and white illustrations and portraits. Very good. Mild rubbing and bumping to the extremities. there is a 1/2 inch long crack in the front board at the foot of the spine along the joint. The edges of the text block are foxed, and the pages are sporadically lightly foxed. Title page states Volume I, but the book was the only volume published. The book is very sturdy. Ex-libris Kent Walgren, author of Freemasonry, Anti-Masonry and Illuminism in the United States, 1734-1850, a Bibliography.
