VERY GOOD condition.
Love, Again tells the story of a 65-year-old woman who falls in love and struggles to maintain her life as she knows it. Widowed for many years, with grown children, Sarah is a writer who works in the theater in London. During the production of a play, she falls in love with a seductive young actor, the beautiful and androgynous 28-year-old Bill, and then with the more mature 35-year-old director Henry. Finding herself in a state of longing and desire that she had thought was the province of younger women, Sarah is compelled to explore and examine her own personal history of love, from her earliest childhood desires to her most recent obsessions. The result is a brilliant anatomy of love from a master of human psychology who remains one of the most daring writers of fiction at work today.

Condition: Wie neu. 2. Auflage. 475 (5) Seiten. 18,6 cm. Umschlaggestaltung: Design Team. Sehr guter Zustand. Frisches Exemplar. Ungelesen. - Doris Lessing, CH (* 22. Oktober 1919 in Kermanschah, Persien; 17. . . Aus wikipedia-Doris_Lessing. Sprache: Deutsch Gewicht in Gramm: 470 Taschenbuch. Kartoniert. Laminiert. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. A very good copy, in a fine unclipped dust jacket, of the stated first US edition. The binding of black cloth spine over black paper boards is generally clean and unworn, with strong gilt lettering to the spine. There is some damp staining to the cloth at the top of the spine and a black remainder mark to the bottom page edges. Everything is sound and tight, with square unbumped corners. The contents are clean and bright with no ownership inscriptions or other markings of any kind. The dust jacket is unclipped ($24.00), and shows almost no discernible edgewear. It is now protected in a removable mylar cover. From the blurb: "The first new novel from Doris Lessing in more than seven years, [this book] tells the story of a sixty-five-year-old woman who falls in love. Or rather, Sarah Durham falls into a state of love, which is another country altogether, and struggles to maintain her sanity while there".
