Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Stackpole Books. 1979. First Edition. 4to. (11 x 9). 223 pp. including bibliography, index. Inscribed, signed and dated by Richard Talleur on the frontispiece. Foreword by Ernest Schwiebert. Color plates showing a variety of flies and dressing materials. Black and white tying sequential photos. Text drawings. This book is my personal favorite title on dressing flies - it begins with fairly easy to dress flies and progresses to more complicated patterns and in the process enables the tyer to dress nearly any fly. Mr. Talleur was an exceptionally gifted artist and his instructions are clear and straight forward. The book is bound in blue cloth with silver titles. Pictorial dust jacket. A nice book. Fine in a fine dust jacket.
