Stoutly rebound, albeit rather amateurishly, in two-tone green cloth. Bound-in are the original yellow wraps, printed in dark blue. Complete with the attractive, multi-color, fold-out map at the end (i.e. Map of Matawan Township & Boro Showing Points of Interest; unfolds 11" wide by 18" tall). Profusely illustrated with photos, maps, and engravings. The 76 Points of Interest are pinpointed and also listed in a key on the side that identifies landmarks as well as "present owners" of historic houses. Published in conjunction with the community's 250th anniversary, it includes a chapter on Firefighters and Fires. Bibliography. This is the wrappers issue (it was also published in cloth).
