Hardcover. Condition: Collectible; VG. This hardcover book is square and tight. The leather covered boards have expected wear but with sharp tooling. The rear points are worn through and the front points each have a worn through spot. The gutters are just beginning but still very tight. There are small losses to the upper and lower spine that actually come off as attractive. The pages and end pages are clean, with no markings or folds. There is virtually no toning to the pages. This is a beautiful copy in Very Good condition. Not ex-lib. No remainder mark.

Première impression de la Grande Chartreuse à La Correrie, et deuxième édition des statuts des Chartreux après l'édition parisienne imprimée en 1582 (H. Theodorici).« Le plus ancien produit de l'imprimerie de la Correrie est daté de 1681 Nova Collectio statutorum ordinis Carlttsfensis. C'est un livre fort rare que possédait Baluze et la bibliothèque de Grenoble, qui s'est enrichie à la Révolution des dépouilles de la Grande Chartreuse, conserve cet ouvrage, qui pourrait être rendu au couvent » (Deschamps). Quarante-huit impressions de livres liturgiques cartusiens mais aussi les principaux ouvrages spirituels du frère Le Masson sont sorties des presses de La Correrie.Le matériel de l?imprimerie particulière de La Correrie fut vendu, au commencement de la Révolution, à deux imprimeurs grenoblois : F. Cadou et David aîné, qui s?installèrent, place Égalité. En 1803, la bibliothèque de la grande Chartreuse fut apportée à Grenoble et placée dans une des salles de la bibliothèque publique.1° Ordinatio capituli generalis anni 1679, in majori cartusia celebrati, pro secunda editione, secundæ et tertiæ partis statutorum, facienda. 2° Ordinatio capituli generalis anni 1680 (de eadem materia). 3° Prologus in novam statutorum ordinis collectionem.
