Sold as is in lot of 11. (An Evening with Irving is missing). All in fair condition, except An Evening with Tennyson, which is missing its cover and some back pages, and An Evening with Burns, which is missing its back cover and perhaps some rear pages. (Ordinarily I would discard these two volumes, but am including them here). Useful for completing an otherwise incomplete set. Insides are clean & bright w/ no marks in text. All have some light wear to edges of cover paper but are still in good shape for their age. All are 1931 editions. Set includes How to Read and What to Read, An Evening with Hawthorne, An Evening with Tennyson, An Evening with Burns, An Evening with Dickens, An Evening with Lamb, An Evening with Scott, An Evening with Thackeray, An Evening with Shakspere, (sic) An Evening with Lincoln, and An Evening with Longfellow. Covers slightly worn around edges. A few tears on some pages. Spines slightly worn at ends. Charming collection of miniature books.
