Each book has a biography and something written by that author. E.g., Shakespeare vol. includes excerpts from Merchant of Venice, Romeo, and Hamlet. Tennyson and "Shakspere" (sic) vols have cream wraps, all others have brown. All booklets have embossed titles on front cover. Each vol. approx. 130 pp. Books each 3.73 X 5.5 inches. Ornamental frontispiece in each. Condition: Good, reading pages clean, edges of wraps have chips and tears where they extend over text block; Shakespeare vol. front cover is separated at hinge, laid in.
