The exterior is worn along the edges, particularly at the corners and top and bottom of the spine. The word "Rugs" on the front has been worn away. There is an inscription in ink from Christmas, 1901 on the first page. The rest of the pages are clean. The gutters show separation is starting between the covers and the text block.
