Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. M. Sasek (Miroslav Sasek) (illustrator). 1st Edition. Paris was written and illustrated by M. Sasek (Miroslav Sasek). The book was published by Casterman in 1960 and MAY be the First French Language Edition of the book. This was the first book in Sasek's classic This is . . . series. Though it's NOT an ex-library copy the book is only in good + condition. It is a hard cover book with laminated pictorial boards and the spine was beginning to tear at the creases so I put a piece of clear tape on the spine to protect its integrity. (But for that issue the book would be in very good condition.) If you are unfamiliar with the series . . . the book is an over-sized book, 9" by 12 1/2", with 60 pages a little narrative, and a lot of great full color illustrations of the highlights and sites of Paris. Again, this book is written entirely in French . . . so it could double as a beginning French Reader and a "guide book." (It could "triple" - if you decide to give it as a gift to someone who is going to Paris.) Thank you!.

Encuadernación de tapa dura. Condition: Nuevo. . .».
