There are long closed tears to two text leaves and one tissue protector. The illustrated title page is toned and the last two color plates and their tissue protectors are toned along the top. Otherwise pages are clean and complete, top page edge gilt. Printed endpapers are clean and in very good condition, no splits or tears. Binding is intact but tender; there is a split starting before page 63 and a neat glue repair to front hinge. Cover is clean though worn with a crease to front board paralleling bottom front corner - the color pastedown and front pasted endpaper creased.
