Kilkenny at Viewmount near Gowran, served in the Royal Navy, the Colonial Service in Tanganyika, as an editor and teacher in Canada etc. His obituary in the Irish Times (a copy included here) quotes Seamus Heaney as saying that "nobody had done more to welcome and assist Irish writers in Canada than Kildare Dobbs". Dust jacket frayed and sun tanned, some staining.
