Leather-bound. Condition: Very Good Plus. Two massive folios, half-bound in smooth leather and burgundy pebbled cloth, triple ruled in gilt. Five raised bands to spines, also triple-ruled-and lettered in gilt. A few minor scratches and rubs to both leather and cloth, but all in all, very clean, tight and presentable. Heavy (23 lbs before packaging and boxing). Loaded with biographies, anecdotes, tissue-guarded full-page images - many photographs, Cyanotypes and gravures of great classical actors in character, throughout. International shipping will easily be as much as the book itself costs.

Unusual in the portfolio edition, this set has seen some use. 106 full page photogravures from photographs and 400 engraved text portraits.
