FIRST PRINTING stated, of Capote's non-fiction account of his adventures with the cast of PORGY AND BESS as they toured Russia at the height of the Cold War. It is a fascinating account in both literary and historical terms, by a supremely gifted writer and observer. Black cloth with rectangular decoration of four square colored blocks on front board. Lettering on sppine is bright silver with the exception of the Random House logo under the title, which is copper colored. An unusual and valuable book missing only the DJ.
