Early printing, 3 years after the first printing. While the copyright page has 1952 and the scribners seal it lacks the letter A and the title page has the 1955 date rather than 1952. The Hemingway Reader is the last title on the books by ernest hemingway page (this was the first title offered after Old Man and the Sea). No impression on rear corner. baby blue cloth is clean. Slightest toning along edge. Corners show a couple of tiny fray hairs. Internally, clean and nice. FFEP has the words or name Irving Yacht and the date of 1956. Book of the Month Club DJ has been married to this non-BOMC printing. DJ is bright. No printed price on DJ flap. Famous DJ illustration is attractive and rear has a picture of Ernie in a blue hue.
