Item Description: The Amalgamated press, Ltd., London, Eng, 1915. Hardcover. Book Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No D.J. First Edition. 9 x 11.5 x 1". Firm and clean throughout with little evidence of use. All books have some water damage to bottom spine, and covers near spine. Has faded the cover, and extends up to 4" high, and 4' wide at most. Caused by something other than water, as is no evidence inside of water damage. Vol. 1, solid, but front cover is loose. Gilt lettering is bright, except near bottom of spine. Vol. 2 is solid, but gilt on spine is a little faded. Rip along bottom back of spine, up 3 inches. Vol. 3 is a little loose, and front endpapers are almost completely ripped along crease. Corners are rubbed, and frayed. Vol. 5. Both endpapers ripped, esp. back which is exposed to fabric. Vol. 6. Both endpapers torn through. Some small whitish blemishes on front cover, near centre.
