Admiral McLintock was the Superintendent of the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 1948-1970. Very nice blue cloth binding with title on front board and on spine in gold. Boards show minor wear. Handsome illustrated endpapers. Text pages are crisp and clean. This is a fascinating biography of noted Naval Architect William Frances Gibbs. Lavishly photo- illustrated. Nice tight binding. Always carefully wrapped and shipped in cardboard boxes to protect your purchase.
