Item Description: Racine, WI: Golden Press, 1977-1980., 1980. First edition - Trade paperbacks. Includes some first printings with the t-shirt offer in the corner. A complete set of the first 34 Trixie Belden books in the format used for the largest number of titles - the beige trade paperbacks with oval cover illustrations mostly by Paul Frame. While not nearly as well-known as the Nancy Drew series, the Trixie Belden mystery series probably has even more devoted and passionate readers. This tousle-haired tomboy, who would rather wear jeans than anything else, who had chores to do and a younger brother to babysit, still managed to have lots of adventures - even if she sometimes got scolded for staying out too long. Overall, each book is in very good to near fine or fine condition (most are near fine) - all are clean, tight copies, with the usual light toning to the pages, some have minor wear to the covers.
