There is a rubber stamped name on the title page, and a little browning throughout, but a very good copy.

Published 1958. Very good book, no dust jacket. Boards are soiled overall and there is a small stain on the back board panel. Edges and corners of head and tail of board spine are rubbed. Upper fore-edge corners tips are rubbed through, lower corners are scuffed. Previous owner's information on FFEP. Internal smudges akin to foxing but on a slightly larger scale. No writing or drawing on text pages. Two pages have closed vertical tears of 1/2" on the lower edges, the pages with the bear orchestra and the pirate. Page edges are lightly soiled and have faint beginnings of foxing. Text block is sound. (2) What Do You Do, Dear? Proper conduct For All Occasions. Published 1961. Very good plus book, no dust jacket. Boards are lightly soiled, a bit more so on the back panel. No internal writing or drawing. No tears. Internally clean and with snug text block. The last page of the book is the dedication page, which also includes this at the lower edge: "Grateful Acknowledgement is made to the editors of the magazine, "Highlights For Children," Columbus, Ohio, who commissioned the author and artist of What Do You Say, Dear? to continue their happy collaboration, which resulted in the episodes brought together in this book.
