Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Uncorrected proof of the first American edition in the form of tall galleys. Butcher paper brown wrappers with applied printed publisher's label, and another label ("An 'A' Book to be considered at the Next Meeting") which in our experience was issued internally by the Book-of-the-Month Club to choose selections. Small chips on the bottom label, small tears at extremities of the wrappers, a little bowed, else near very good.
