Six, attractive uniformly bound volumes in comtemporary half black polished calf with gilt decoration to the spines, marbled boards; marbled end-papers. Don Juan is an early 12mo edition dated 1820 to the title page (without any reference to being a reprint), with separate "half-title" pages to both cantos. The five volumes of Byron's Works are all dated 1821 to the title pages. Bindings very good, sound with a little rubbing to edges and joints; contents good and tight, some scattered foxing/browning throughout more so the blank pages at the front and back, the odd page lightly stained, no inscriptions.
