Top corner page 507 torn away, removing only final digit of page number. Book is square but well worn; all corners worn through, fraying to fabric at head of spine. Red titles and devices to front board and spine still legible at about 70 percent, but completely vanished from spine. Stated "Thirteenth Printing May 1931," which is 11 months after the first. (This is NOT the first printing.) Red topstain now faded to a dull brown. A well-used "good only" copy of the 1931 Pulitzer Prize winning novel, this copy printed 11 months after first publication. 581 pp. Reduced from $325.
