About The Other Change of Hobbit
Specializing in science fiction and fantasy, we've been a brick-and-mortar bookstore since May 1977, opening the same week as Star Wars. We've had a web presence since 1995, but most of our business is done through the storefront in south Berkeley.
During the months of March and April 2010, we moved our brick-and-mortar storefront from downtown. Some delays may occur as the dust settles (literally). Most of the ABEBooks inventory has been unpacked and reshelved, but a few items may have gotten lost in the shuffle. As with the old storefront, our ABEBooks inventory is only available for viewing at the brick-and-mortar by prior appointment.

Shipping Terms:
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
Books shipped within California are subject to state sales tax, which will be requested during the confirmation process.
