Booksellers since 1984. We buy and sell fine used, rare, out-of-print and scholarly books in many subject areas. Townsend Booksellers is an open store in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh near the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. The Carnegie Museum of Art, the Natural History Museum and the main Carnegie Library are just a few blocks away. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Our regular business hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm.
