If you don't use HomeBase or our online system, don't worry –
we haven't forgotten about you! We'll be making all of the same features
that will be available in HomeBase 3.0 and the new online system available
to you, too.
For now, you don't have to worry about making any changes. We'll be
providing all booksellers with custom conversions with more information
later this summer so we can set up your account to take advantage of
the Abebooks Browse Categories and the search refinements.

Q: What is a custom conversion? Am I using one?
A: A custom conversion refers to the settings on your
account if you upload us files using any inventory management system
other than HomeBase or our online listings manager. A custom conversion
can be anything from a program like Booktrakker or Bookhound to an Excel
spreadsheet that you save in tab-delimited format.
Q: I have a custom conversion. Will I be able to take advantage
of the search refinements and new browse categories?
A: Yes. We will be providing the list of categories
to you so that you can apply them to your listings. You can also use
the online listings manager to assign your listings to categories.
We will be providing you with tools for using the search refinements
as well. We'll have more information for you closer to the full release
of HomeBase 3.0 in the fall.
