Question Formats
There are several question formats, including the following:
- Select one answer in a drop-down list.
- Select one or multiple option buttons.
- Enter a date (month/day/year).
- Select one option per row in a matrix.
Some booksellers are receiving errors that not all questions
have been completed when they try to advance to the next page.
Please review all of the questions on the page when this happens,
and especially check your date and matrix-format questions.
Tips
- Ensure that all three of month, day and year are entered.
If you aren't sure of the day for any date, please enter "01";
we're most interested in collecting the month and year. (Questions
8, 12 and 13)
- In the matrix-format questions, ensure you have selected one
option for each row in the question. (Questions 17, 30, 31,
63)
Comments About Specific Questions
25: We understand that only one option can be
selected for this question. Please select the Web site you use
the most, or enter your multiple answers using the "Other"
field.
30, 31: If you do not sell via one of these
channels, select any answer for that channel. We'll be able to
filter out your answers based on previous questions where you've
told us which sales channels you use.
65, 66: 1 = not at all likely and 10 = very
likely
Receive an Error?
If you receive an error, please review all of the questions on
the page, paying particular attention to the questions noted above
(8, 12, 13, 17, 30, 31, 63).
If you've checked all of these questions, contact
our Customer Support team and note the page number you're
on and the message you receive. Please also note any specific
question numbers that are causing issues.
If you received an error earlier and quit the survey, you just
need to click the link to take the survey again; you'll be re-directed
to the last page you were on and can continue filling it in from
there.
