Abebooks is coming to a city near you!

Abebooks will be in New York, Chicago, Austin, Vancouver and Frankfurt this fall to promote and support our booksellers.

Vancouver – September 26

Now in its seventh year, Vancouver's The Word On The Street festival is poised to present its biggest, most diverse event yet. It all happens on Sunday September 26 at Library Square and the CBC Plaza. Visit us at Booth # T10b

New York – October 2 and 3

Abebooks will be attending New York is Book Country on October 2 and 3 in Washington Square and surrounding areas of New York University's Campus. New York is Book Country is a non-profit organization that promotes the joy of reading and writing, and celebrates books by bringing together schools, authors, libraries, cultural organizations, publishers and bookstores in a network of citywide events and programs.

Abebooks will be hosting a special meet and greet event for booksellers on the evening of Monday, October 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Manhattan, venue TBD soon. Please email us at marcom@abebooks.com if you are interested in attending.

Frankfurt - October 6 to 10

From 6 - 10 October 2004, the Frankfurt Book Festival will once again be the venue for the world's largest trade fair for books, multimedia and communications. The Arabic World will be the new Guest of Honour. Abebooks will be onhand in Frankfurt to hand out promotional materials.

Chicago – October 29 to 30

Abebooks will be at the Chicago International Remainder and Overstock Book Exposition (CIROBE), from October 29 th-31 st at the Hilton Chicago. Sign up as an Abebooks customer before October 10 th and receive $10 off your registration fee! Visit us at booth # 2201.

CIROBE is an annual trade show that takes place in Chicago every fall and is open exclusively to those within the bargain book trade. CIROBE attracts booksellers and other retailers from around the world who come to the expo to buy bargain books for resale from publishers and remainder companies. No other time or location in the world gives booksellers access to more titles and/or sources of supply.
