Introducing the
new Abebooks creative campaign: “If you can’t find
it here, it doesn’t exist”
Abebooks.com
is launching a new advertising campaign this May
in support of our 10 year anniversary activities.
The new theme will be used in all advertising and promotional materials
and feature 5 different “Not-books” with
the tag line “If you can’t find it here, it doesn’t
exist”. The ads represent books in the new, used, and antiquarian
categories and are designed to be entertaining and grab the customer’s
attention, while sending a simple message about the vast selection of books listed on Abebooks.
Advertisements
will begin hitting UK, North American, Australian
and New Zealand markets this May and will run until the end of
July. Watch for Abebooks in publications like The New Yorker, New
York Times Book Review, Literary Review of Canada, Good Reading
Australia, and The London Review of Books, plus many more. In addition
to print advertising, we are distributing over 4 million pieces
of promotional materials, posting eCards of each
creative theme on our web site for users to email to their friends,
conducting extensive search and affiliate campaign online, and
much more.
Thank
you to all booksellers who ordered promotional materials
and have supported the new campaign. Don’t forget to distribute
bookmarks in your book orders and in your community.
The more bookmarks you send out, the more chances
you have of winning a prize such as digital cameras, Brodart
supplies, and free subscriptions from Abebooks. Over 300 participating
booksellers will win a prize, PLUS, you can give your customers
the chance to win a trip around the world!
