Collectibles: Jorge Luis Borges

Libreria El Sur
In order to make this Collectibles Feature on Borges the most interesting, we tried to include the rarest of materials on our Borges catalogue. You will find many rare first editions, such as the original copies of 1920's literary magazines containing his early collaborations which would later be compiled onto books. Undoubtedly, the most interesting are his experimental articles which later were published on Inquisiciones, El tamaño de mi esperanza and El idioma de los argentinos, the three books which Mr Borges himself left out from his Complete Works after falling out with the Ultraísmo and its playful language experiments. Other unique items are the vinyl LPs which give the rare chance to listen to Borges introduce and recite his own poems. You are also kindly invited to browse our catalogues: There you will find original newspaper articles which were later to be found on compilations as well as many other rare and long out-of-print collectibles by Borges and many other Latin American writers.
